Just a Little Taste of Rudolph’s History
The first owner of Rudolph’s was an Austrian immigrant, martin Rudolph. Today the company is operated by the descendents of the third owner, Cyrill “Sid” Pokladnik, a former employee who bought Rudolph’s Market in 1947. Sid Introduced Rudolph’s sausage to restaurants and wholesalers. This changed the little meat market into a venture that sells to customers all across Texas and beyond.

Rudolph’s Market has been a Dallas tradition since 1895, producing the finest varieties of European style sausages, offering quality aged beef, and smoking delicious hams and turkeys the old-fashioned way. Our smoked products are made with the highest quality beef, pork, and veal, which is slowly cured and cooked over hickory embers to give it the flavor customers have enjoyed for over a century.
